Content Proofreader – Freelance
Job Description: • Proofread educational content for accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation and consistency • Input text from standards documents into in-house spreadsheets to support standards alignment projects • Use your sharp eye for detail to compare website text and PDFs side by side to ensure accuracy • Rapidly implement edits to ensure our content is of the highest quality Requirements: • Excellent attention to detail is required; prior proofreading/editing experience is preferred • Must be proficient with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel • Knowledge of HTML formatting is a plus • Availability for up to 10 hours per week; possibly more depending on projects • Ability to work independently, meeting weekly deadlines • Passion for improving education through technology Benefits: • 1099 consulting role • Remote work for 3 months with possible extension • Collaboration culture Apply tot his job
