Content Manager/Editor (Global)Responsibilities

Obility is looking for a Content Manager who will support the growth of the content team.

The Content Manager Manager will research, review, and edit pieces of content produced by Obility to ensure they are error-free, engaging, and accurately reflect the client’s brand and products.

The Content Editor will work closely with Obililty’s SEO team and Content Manager to produce quality content for clients and support the success of SEO and content efforts.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating content outlines based on target keywords and industry research
• Turning SEO content outlines into SEO long-form content that tells a compelling story
• Researching Obility’s clients products and solutions
• Reviewing and editing the content produced by the Obility content team to ensure it’s error-free, engaging, and fits the client’s brand and goals
• Editing 2-3 pieces of content per day
• Creating 20,000 words of written content per month
• Leveraging AI tools to support the creation of outlines and long-form SEO content
• Working with SEO, customer success, and content team members to manage client communications, projects, and tasks
• Managing a busy workload according to deadlines

Success in this position will be demonstrated by:
• Producing well-researched content that increases customer engagement and supports client performance, as measured by SEO data
• Working closely with Obility SEO teams to identify content opportunities and drives projects to a successful end
• Keeping up-to-date on content and SEO best practices and B2B industry trends
• Documenting successful strategies in the form of case studies to share with team members, prospects and clients

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will have experience in writing, developing and editing content and excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills (C2 proficiency level or native speaker)
• Ability to work US hours (PST, MDT, CDT, or EST)
• 2 years of experience in an editing role and experience with research, copywriting, and editing
• Strong understanding of SEO copywriting best practices
• Presentation and communication skills with the ability to present effectively to both internal and external audiences
• Great attention to detail
• Amazing time management skills and ability to manage multiple clients/assignments in a fast-paced environment

Desired but not required experience:
• Past work with B2B clients and an understanding of the B2B sales funnel
• Familiarity with Google Data Studio and Google Analytics

The salary for this position will be $45,000 - $60,000/year based on experience.
