Content Editing Associate – Editorial Assistant (part-time)

They are seeking a Content Editing Associate to provide administrative and editorial support, coordinating with team members throughout the content development and publication process.ResponsibilitiesAssisting with subject matter expert (SME) management tasks, including recruitment for item writing and editorial advisory boards, onboarding of writers and freelancers, and roster upkeepAssisting with general project coordination, special editorial projects, and ad-hoc requestsAiding content strategists as needed by uploading, reviewing, and/or revising items from writers and vendorsManaging tasks related to content development and publishing cycles, and escalating issuesUpdating project dashboards and trackers, and reporting on key performance measuresCoordinating internal and external meetings; taking meeting notes and following up on action itemsRouting contracts and setting up vendors/freelancers for paymentsProcessing invoices and following up as needed to ensure timely paymentsCreating, reviewing, and updating internal standard operating procedure (SOP) documentationSkillsCollege degree (BA/BS) - English, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred; or related experience.
