Content Creator / UGC Video Producer (Part-Time – San Diego)

Job Summary Troov, a new clean-energy, high-performance wellness brand, is looking for a highly creative Content Creator / UGC Video Producer to help build our brand through engaging, aesthetic, fast-moving social content. (@drinktroov) (www.drinktroov.com) You’ll work directly with the founder to shoot, edit, and produce videos designed for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and ads. You’ll also create UGC-style content, brainstorm ideas, and help shape our early brand presence. This is a hands-on creative role ideal for a creator who loves wellness, lifestyle content, storytelling, and TikTok-native editing. What You’ll Do • Shoot & edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) with strong hooks, pacing, and retention. • Create UGC-style content that feels authentic, fun, and native to social platforms. • Brainstorm content ideas proactively — including scripts, creative concepts, and video ideas the founder should film. • Help direct and film the founder for aesthetic lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, story-driven, and educational content. • Capture product shots, lifestyle shots, and founder-led brand storytelling. • Edit social-ready content using CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or mobile editing tools. • Stay on top of current TikTok/IG trends and recommend formats, sounds, and hooks. • Ensure consistent branding, tone, and visual identity across all content. • (Optional) Shoot and edit simple still photos for ads, emails, and website visuals. • Track basic performance metrics and adjust creative direction as needed. Who You Are • A student or budding creator with a strong interest in content creation, videography, and social media. • Confident filming lifestyle, wellness, or aesthetic content — or excited to learn. • Skilled at editing short-form videos with viral pacing and crisp visuals. • Organized, self-motivated, and excited to collaborate with a growing startup. • Passionate about wellness, fitness, storytelling, and creative direction. • Comfortable both following direction and pitching your own ideas. Bonus if you have: • Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or Lightroom. • Experience creating videos for brands, influencers, or your own social accounts. • An aesthetic or clean visual style that fits modern wellness/lifestyle brands.
