Consumer Compliance Analyst

Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.We are looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and strategic Consumer Compliance Analystto join our compliance team at Greenlight. This person will play a key role in oversight and execution of all daily reviews related to Consumer Compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements inclusive of UDAAP and Reg. E. This role will also support compliance management in reviewing consumer complaints and reviewing new products and services to identify and mitigate compliance risks.This position will report directly to Greenlight's Compliance Manager/Associate.What you will be doing:
Engage with departments across the organization to conduct internal testing of compliance with consumer regulations, policies, and procedures;
Assist with the tracking, review, and disposition of consumer complaints and disputes;
Monitor and review consumer facing materials (e.g. social media, user screens, website);
Participate in the management of the consumer compliance risk assessment and third-party audits;
Review and manage written policies and procedures;
Maintain the consumer compliance calendar for monitoring, testing, and reporting;
Work closely with departments across the organization to maintain the company standards for consumer compliance efforts
Identify, respond to, and escalate risks as appropriate
Remain current on regulatory changes and developments
Assist with responses to formal complaints and subpoenas as needed
Support regulatory examinations and ensure implementation of new policies and procedures
What you should bring:
The position will be fast-paced with no day being the same as the one before, so we are looking for fun, seasoned individual who is passionate about financial crimes and compliance in addition to the below:
1-2 years of hands-on compliance experience (or a role that worked closely with compliance), preferably at a FinTech company or financial institution;
Familiarity with consumer protection regulations and agencies, including but not limited to Regulation E, FTC, UDAAP, CFPB, and EFTA
Previous experience in a marketing review role
Previous investment advisory compliance experienceExperience in compliance management software providers (i.e. Themis, Performline, RedOak, etc.) a plus
Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills with a proficiency in Google applications
Comfortable taking direction and quickly adapting to change in a fast-paced environment
Proven analytical and problem solving skills, understanding the need to thoroughly review all matters and consider all downstream impacts prior to recommending change

The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more.
