This role builds upon foundational tax and technology skills to support client engagements, configure systems, and contribute to project success. Tax Consultants are expected to demonstrate growing independence in problem-solving, communication, and technical execution, while collaborating closely with senior team members.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGather and process client data to support tax software configuration.Perform mapping analysis and translate findings into tax solutions.Validate and audit data inputs for accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth implementation.Communicate project updates and technical details effectively.Maintain detailed documentation of implementation steps and client interactions.Support client training and onboarding activities as needed.Education and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Tax or related fieldProfessional certifications not required but beneficial.2-4 years of relevant experience preferredWorking knowledge of sales and use tax law and compliance.Strong data analysis and validation capabilities.Familiarity with ERP systems and tax engines (e.g., Vertex, SAP, OneSource).Experience with implementation templates and documentation.Proficiency in Excel and internal tax software tools.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and initiative in problem-solving.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsWork Schedule: Regular, 40 hours/weekTravel: Less than 10%Physical Activity:Prolonged periods of sitting and computer useAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and soundsFrequent repetitive motions with handsThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its applicants and employees.
