We are seeking a team-focused and results-oriented Construction Observer who is looking to be a significant contributor to the execution of municipal projects. Primary Responsibilities: Provide construction observation services for municipal projectsOversee and coordinate contracted services, including survey and material testingDocument and verify adherence to project specifications (daily log, quantities, submittals, etc...)Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and property owners regarding project scope, timelines, and related project issuesCoordinate roadway design project plans with associated utility companies Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience in construction observation or equal combination of formal education and applicable experiencePrevious municipal construction experience (i.e. storm/sanitary sewer, watermain, paving, grading, etc…) Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction ManagementCompletion of Wisconsin DOT certifications (PCC1, PCC2, Aggregate Tech, HMA Sampler, etc…)Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Additional Information Why Foth:Established Reputation: With over 85 years of success, we are proud to be 100% member-owned.Dynamic Culture: Benefit from a values-based, client-centered, and flexible work environment, with ample professional growth opportunities and supportive colleagues, contributing to our impressive 92+% member retention rate.Challenging Projects: Engage in diverse and exciting projects that promote continuous professional growth and development.Join our team and experience the Foth difference!
