DescriptionClient looking for an experienced Retirement Combo Plan Administrator and can offer a fully remote arrangement.Key Responsibilities:Ability to perform A-Z administration and to independently manage a caseload of approximately 95 small combo plansUnderstand and interpret elements of DB/Cash Balance Plan actuarial valuation & be able to communicate issues to in-house actuaries and clientsPrepare Annual Valuation packages for all assigned plans, including the following: Annual Valuation Report, Annual Funding Notices, Letters for the Valuation package, Actuarial Certifications, IRS Form 5500 and related schedules, Additional IRS forms (i.e., 5330, 8955-SSA, etc.) and schedulesPBGC Comprehensive Premium FilingsPlan design for existing and potential new clientsPerform, review, and correct annual non-discrimination testing for stand-alone DB/Cash Balance Plans and combination DB/DC plans. This includes but is not limited to: 410(b), 401(a)(4), 401(a)(26), and gateway testingReview all reports, tax forms, notifications, disclosures, legal documents, etc. that are sent to the client or a government agencyCalculate projections and contribution requirementsPrepare distribution calculations and review distribution forms prepared for terminated employeesResearch technical and regulatory issues related to client's plansMaintain a positive and proactive relationship with clients and contacts, including plan upkeep and advising clients on technical and regulatory requirementsContinue education through webcasts and ASPPA examsQualifications:Minimum of 5 years experience in administration of qualified combo plansBachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business/Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related fieldsExperience with Relius and FT Williams benefits software is preferredHighly organized and extremely detail-orientedAbility to work well with others and be a team player in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize and multi-taskPassion for client serviceAbility to work independently in a remote work environmentPreferred Qualifications:ASPPA and/or NIPA credentials preferred, or willingness to work towards credentialsTo apply please email: Matt Doman | 630-519-5052
