Collections Attorney - Hybrid
Consilio LLC is a global legal services company seeking a Collections Attorney to handle debt settlement litigation from inception through resolution. The role involves managing all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal documents, appearing in court, and negotiating settlements while ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of debt collection litigation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery Draft and file lawsuits, judgments, garnishments, liens, and post-judgment remedies Appear in court for hearings, assist at trials and mediations Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements Ensure compliance with FDCPA, state collection laws, and court rules Communicate effectively with clients, debtors, opposing counsel, and court personnel Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in case management system Skills Active bar admission in Colorado At least 1 year of experience with debt settlement litigation Ability to work proficiently with case management software and keep all files up to date Benefits CV-enhancing work with global brands No limits You call the shots You’re never on your own Our Ways Of Working help shape who we are and what we do We’re global Company Overview Consilio stands as the global leader in eDiscovery, document review, flexible legal talent, and legal advisory & transformation consulting services.
