About the position
Join our team as a Professional Fee Coder specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR), Cardiovascular Surgery, and Evaluation & Management (E/M) services. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while engaging with a dynamic healthcare team.
Responsibilities
• Code complex procedures and critical care encounters in Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, and E/M services
,
• Manage a heavy E/M workload, including high-acuity inpatient and observation encounters
,
• Ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and standards
,
• Maintain productivity of 4-6.5 charts per hour
Requirements
• 3+ years of professional fee coding experience, focusing on IR, Cardiovascular Surgery, and E/M
,
• Certifications: CPC, CCS-P, with CIRCC
,
• Experience with Epic preferred
,
• Must adhere to 2023 IP E/M coding guidelines
