[Remote] Associate Technical Consultant

As an Associate Technical Consultant, you will support Technical Consultants in implementation and documentation while developing the capability to independently manage smaller accounts and technical workstreams.ResponsibilitiesSupport and progressively own technical workstreams for assigned accountsBuild trusted relationships with customer IT, operations, and technical stakeholdersPartner with CSMs on account plans and support the technical narrative in QBRs (product posture, stability, readiness)Design or oversee scalable, secure, observable API integrationsUtilize Postman for Collections, Environments, automated tests, Monitors, published documentation, and team collaborationExecute and iterate technical plays including Identity & Capture Lift, Second-Visit Acceleration, Campaign Hygiene, Wallet/S2P/PassCreate operator-ready SOPs, smoke tests, go/no-go criteria, and rollback plansCoach Technical Consultants and field teams on repeatable patternsEnforce quality gates prior to launchesConduct readiness scans ahead of major campaignsEnsure clean and complete handoffs to SupportPartner with Product and Engineering to chase down issues, propose workarounds, and publish timelines and risksCreate and maintain tickets/work items as the single source of truthAttach BRD-Lite documents, QA results, runbooks, and weekly “moved / blocked / next” updatesSkills0–3 years in a technical role (solutions, integration, support, or QA) or equivalent academic/projects experienceSolid understanding of HTTP/APIs and Postman fundamentals (Collections, Environments)Scripting basics (JavaScript/Node or Python)Strong written and verbal communication skillsCuriosity, adaptability, and desire to learn at paceFamiliarity with SaaS integrations, POS/ordering/payments systems, loyalty platforms, or communications toolsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentStrong documentation and organizational habitsCompany OverviewPAR Technology creates and markets products that help restaurant and retail operators.
