Cloud Monitor (Afternoon/Night Shift)
Job Summary::
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Performance Monitor Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance, and reliability of cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will leverage monitoring tools, and proactively identify and track bottlenecks in cloud environments.
This position will work 6 PM to 2 AM Monday - Friday*
Job Duties and Responsibilities: :
Implement and maintain cloud performance monitoring tools and dashboards (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Datadog).
Continuously monitor the health, performance, and availability of cloud systems.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance cloud system performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to address performance issues.
Optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance standards are met.
Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)::
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Must be a US Citizen able to pass a standard background check.
Experience:
Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools and technologies.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Administrator, etc.).
