Cloud Developer / DevOps
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and IT infrastructure, with expertise in cloud computing and automation tools.
ā¢ Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment.
ā¢ Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to manage applications in cloud environments.
ā¢ Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
ā¢ Automate system configurations and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
ā¢ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like New Relic, Splunk, or Elasticsearch.
ā¢ Ensure security best practices are followed across the IT infrastructure, including cloud security measures.
ā¢ Manage databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, or Microsoft SQL Server to ensure data integrity and availability.
ā¢ Support incident management processes by responding to outages and implementing disaster recovery solutions.
ā¢ Participate in Agile methodologies to enhance project management and delivery timelines.
ā¢ Document processes, configurations, and system architectures for knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
ā¢ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell for automation tasks.
ā¢ Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
ā¢ Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
ā¢ Knowledge of web servers (NGINX, Tomcat) and application servers (WebLogic).
ā¢ Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations.
ā¢ Strong experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab.
ā¢ Familiarity with enterprise software development practices including SDLC and Agile methodologies.
ā¢ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
