As a part-time instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing by educating and mentoring students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service
Plan and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students in clinical settings
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student learning needs
Grade assignments and provide timely feedback
Maintain current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
Master's (MSN) or doctoral degree (DNP/PhD) in nursing from a regionally accredited institution
Unencumbered professional nursing license in California
At least three years of professional experience in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
Teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required
Clinical skills competency verification and annual self-assessment of clinical nursing skills
