Clinical Informatics Director

Job Description: • Optimize the use of clinical systems through education and training • Report quality outcomes and provide support in accordance with organizational goals • Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems across three Planned Parenthood affiliates • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and enhance clinical workflows through informatics solutions • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to standardize workflows, visit-type templates, and documentation in Epic • Develop strategies and best practices to enable better collaboration and coordination among healthcare providers • Conduct audits of the CIS, monitor end-user satisfaction, and create performance development work plans Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field required • Master’s degree in health informatics, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field preferred • Better Health Epic certification or successful completion of Better Health Epic certification training within the first 6 months of hire is required • Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in healthcare • Strong understanding of clinical operations and systems • Proven experience in healthcare informatics, EMR implementation or optimization, data analysis for operational improvement • Experience in multi-site or shared service environments preferred • Experience in education and training of clinical staff Benefits: • Paid Time Off • 10 paid holidays • Affordable medical, dental, and vision options • Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account • 401(k) with match • Generous employee benefits package Apply tot his job
