DESCRIPTION
Under the general supervision of the school Principal, the Classroom Monitor will provide in-person classroom assistance and support to students during virtual instruction.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES
• Actively facilitates and supports student independence and participation with learning through virtual instruction.
• Assists students with operating and navigating technology including basic troubleshooting of device operations, cameras, learning platforms, and learning tools.
• Maintains a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment by implementing classroom management strategies.
• Assists with student attendance and communicates student progress and/or concerns on a regular basis to the Principal, as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to provide support to students, individually or in small group settings.
• Experience utilizing and operating technology devices (e.g. Chromebooks, IPads, laptops, desktop computers, projectors).
• Knowledge of science and/or Spanish is preferred, but not required.
SALARY
Hourly Rate of Pay – $22.00/hr.
20-30 hours a week, flexible scheduling.
