Claims Reimbursement Associate

We are currently looking for a Claims Reimbursement Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities
Ā Review and reconcile supporting payment detail
Ā Review and confirm policy terms of coverage
Ā Process and refer payment due
Ā Ensure payments remain in compliance with both policy and departmental guidelines
Ā Process ceded reinsurance billing; including external distribution of invoices, follow up on outstanding amounts due, and management reporting
Ā Support reconciliation and escheat processes related to claim payments
Ā Cross train and serve as back-up for others on the Finance team as needed
Ā Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary to assure the overall success of the Finance Team
Ā Powercomp, Freedom Reinsurance System (FRS), Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
Ā Interact and collaborate with employees at all levels from across the organization
Ā Ability to recommend, present and implement change
Ā Communicate with multiple TPAs and work to obtain all necessary data and resolve any reconciling issues
Required Qualifications
Ā Be a problem solver, with high attention to detail, and be willing to take ownership.
Ā Team-oriented, approachable, welcome feedback, self-motivating and enthusiastic.
Preferred Qualifications
Ā College diploma or university degree in the field of accounting or finance preferred.
