Claims Associate II
Zurich North America is currently hiring a Claims Associate II to join their Workers’ Compensation Claims Team. The role involves managing a caseload of workers compensation claims, learning to interpret and evaluate policies, and building partnerships with customers and brokers. Responsibilities Manage workers compensation claims caseload that consists of low to moderate exposure Learn how to interpret, investigate and evaluate policies and coverage issues Claims handling and best practices Build partnerships with customers and brokers May be aligned to specific accounts Skills Bachelor's Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s) Experience with Microsoft Office Insurance industry, medical terminology, or medical billing knowledge Analytical and organizational skills Ability to multi-task Strong communication skills Adapt to a changing environment Benefits Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits Short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5% Company Overview Zurich American Insurance is an international commercial property-casualty insurance provider.
