Title: Inventory Manager (Internship) Location: London Office-Based EC1V 7LQ (Mon–Thurs in office, Fri remote) Duration: 6 months Salary: £25,400 (pro rata) What is Supplier Inventory Management at Wayfair? As an Intern, you’ll step directly into this dynamic, data-driven environment — tackling real business challenges, solving problems, and delivering tangible results. What You’ll Do Your exact responsibilities will depend on your skills, interests, and team placement, but here’s a snapshot of the impact you could have: Develop & Execute Strategies: Optimise sales, in-stock rates, inventory turns, and network balance to drive growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Analytics, Category Management, Forecasting, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on forecasts, trends, and supply chain strategies. Own Projects: Lead initiatives such as promotional inventory planning, forward positioning, and sell-through actions. Analyse & Optimise: Monitor key performance indicators, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Strategise & Scale: Influence supplier assortment, availability, and operational strategies using insights from your analysis. What You’ll Need to Succeed Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Strong communication and collaboration skills — you thrive in team settings. A proactive, can-do mindset — quick to learn, eager to take initiative. An eye for detail and confidence working independently. Interest in eCommerce, retail, or home & lifestyle products.
