Position Location: NYC - Required to be in the Long Island City office location 2-3 times a week. Required to be located or relocate to the surrounding area of the office location. Relocation Assistance is available.
Position Purpose: Plans and directs all aspects of the Business Unit's operations. Responsible for the short and long term profitability and growth of the Business Unit. Develop relationships with network providers, area regulators, and contractors to ensure successful development and implementation of business plans.
? Develops a sound short - and long- range operating plan for the organization including employee development, member, network and provider relations goals.
? Represents the organization in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, regulators, professional societies, and similar groups.
? Ensure appropriate provider network is developed and maintained.
? Ensures the adequacy and soundness of the organization's financial structure and reviews projections to ensure operational excellence.
? Plans and directs all aspects of the company's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
? Develops polices and procedures for operational processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and contractual regulations with federal and state laws.
? Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in a top management position in the government or healthcare industry working on contract acquisition and operations management. Extensive experience in contracting and strategic planning and development. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
License/Certification: Valid driver's license.Pay Range: $301,400.00 - $572,700.00 per year
