CFO - Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Portland, Oregon, this role is integral to guiding financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management, business integration, and private equity collaboration. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the integration of financial operations stemming from recent acquisitions. • Act as a key liaison with private equity stakeholders, ensuring transparency and readiness for potential future sales. • Lead detailed budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and optimizing resource allocation. • Analyze cash flow and provide actionable insights to improve financial sustainability and growth. • Manage capital investments and financial planning to maximize returns and minimize risks. • Supervise month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. • Drive the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring thorough evaluation and risk assessment. • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategies. • Enhance and oversee business systems to streamline financial operations and reporting. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Proven experience in cash flow analysis and financial planning. • Expertise in capital management and investment strategies. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting standards. • Familiarity with business systems and their role in financial operations. • Demonstrated success in the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions. • Ability to navigate complex private equity environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders. • Solid understanding of budgeting principles and resource allocation. • Background in managing financial aspects of business integrations after acquisitions.
