Central Services Order Entry Technician (Remote)

Scope of Responsibilities Works remotely under supervision of the Manager of Central Services and Implementation. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Work within multiple HealthDirect facilities as directed by Manager. Has ability to communicate professionally via phone, email, and Teams. Job Summary Responsible for all aspects related to entering the medication orders for various facilities. Ensuring that all Third-Party claims are billed properly. Assist fellow technicians with training and daily functions β€’ Responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications β€’ Responsible for all aspects related to entering medication orders for various facilities β€’ Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities β€’ Responsible for billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month β€’ Assist in new home setup and implementation across the region β€’ Assist in orienting and training new employees β€’ Work with the billing department to oversee the completion of individuals unbilled reports β€’ Assign daily unbilled reports β€’ Maintain and demonstrate top tier data entry production as determined by Manager β€’ Helps in managing outside services that have an impact on HealthDirect customer service (ex. INFINX, SDS) β€’ Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs β€’ Perform other duties as assigned Educational Requirements Minimum β€’ High School Diploma or GED β€’ AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field Experience β€’ 2 years’ experience as a Long-Term Care Pharmacy Order Entry Technician required β€’ Previously demonstrated top 5% data entry performance metrics Required (Vermont Employees) β€’ Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician Job Skill Requirements β€’ Proficient with multiple remote technology (Framework LTC, QS1, ECM, Docutrack, Teams) β€’ Strong communication skills β€’ Outstanding customer service skills β€’ Ability to work independently β€’ Excellent organizational skills β€’ Ability to multitask and prioritize β€’ Broad knowledge of medications and physician orders β€’ General computer and keyboarding skills β€’ Strong leadership skills Special Conditions of Employment β€’ Drug test β€’ Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring β€’ A verifiable, private, and quiet in-home workspace is required to ensure HIPAA compliance and to handle phone calls without interruption. β€’ Demonstrate ability to hit and maintain key productivity measures as determined by Regional Manager of Operations Apply tot his job
