Job Description:
UPS Freight, a leader in the LTL trucking industry, is currently seeking a CDL Delivery Driver (Flatbed) to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely driving our flatbed trucks to deliver our goods to customers across various locations. You will be integral in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our delivery operations, making sure packages are delivered on time and without damage.
Responsibilities:
– Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
– Delivering goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
– Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
– Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
– Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
– Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
– Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A CDL license.
– Prior experience as a Delivery Driver is a plus.
– Proficient understanding of driver safety and DOT regulations.
– Exceptional customer service skills.
– Ability to lift heavy objects.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle is greatly desired.
