CDI Specialist-2nd Level Reviewer

Overview _Full time and Part time roles

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CDI Specialist - 2nd Level Reviewer to join our healthcare quality management team. This critical role involves conducting comprehensive reviews of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in second level reviews and clinical experience.

Responsibilities
• Main responsibilities are Quality Control and Standard Evaluations (these include PDX, Ambulatory, Concurrent, etc.)
• Digging into the Company's AI software on acceptance vs rejection of client guidelines
• Conduct reviews and evaluations of software's decision making

Requirements
• RN, CCDS or CDIP credential preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare coding systems including ICD-10/ICD-9 and CPT coding.
• Experience working within acute care settings such as ICU, trauma centers (Level I or Level II), PICU, or emergency medicine units is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner, Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is required.
• Background in nursing, health information management (HIM), or related clinical fields; nursing home or hospice care experience is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour

• Generative AI: 1 year (Preferred)
• CDI: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
