PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION, ONLY MARYLAND, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND SOUTH EAST PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED. AT ANY TIME WE COULD BE CALLED BACK INTO THE OFFICE LOCATED IN HAMPSTEAD, MD.
Position Overview:
You would be part of a great team responsible for both handling inbound calls and making outbound calls to set appointments with Maryland homeowners for consultations and inspections. No cold calling. All outbound calls would be to current prospects and past customers.
The ideal candidate will be a strong verbal communicator, capable of projecting confidence, clarity, and a personable tone over the phone. Our company is highly service-oriented, and a large portion of our customers contact us again and again in part because we treat them just like family. Maintaining and growing those homeowner relationships through cheerful and skillful call handling is essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Arriving on-time and being ready to handle each call with care and accuracy.
• Accurately collecting customer information and understanding their home improvement needs.
• Scheduling and rescheduling homeowners for appointments, connecting them with internal team members, and providing basic information to help answer questions.
• Consistently using a standardized customer service process to ensure that all key metrics are being met and that we are supporting the teams who will be meeting with the homeowners.
• Reaching out to past customers to see if they have future remodeling needs.
• Light record-keeping, reporting and administrative duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in a call center and/or customer service setting delivering high-quality customer service by Phone, SMS(text), Chat and Email
• High school diploma
• A quiet home-based work environment free from distractions and environmental noises. We do monitor calls for training and coaching so environments with background noise from other people, pets, TVs, etc is not considered to be acceptable.
• A great attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to speak in a professional manner to clients who value warm, personal service.
• Comfort with using web-based customer relationship management system.
• Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Outlook for e-mail
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and any hours between 8am to 6pm
• Able to work in a team setting that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.
• Able to work in the Maryland office on short notice.
Compensation:
Brothers Services offers a very competitive compensation package including the opportunity to earn bonuses above your normal compensation, a weekly pay schedule, full benefits (medical, dental, 401K, etc.), and a liberal leave policy.
