Title: Business Systems Data Analyst (Financial Services) Locations: Remote US with Commercial Loan experience Duration: 3+ month contract Rate: $49-53/hr. W2 Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holder, or authorized to work in the U.S. JOB DESCRIPTION: The business systems data analyst is responsible for leading business requirements definition to successful completion, including the discovery, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, process flows, use cases, testing, and training plans. Works closely with product, relationship management, quality assurance, project management, and technology teams. The Business Analyst is responsible for conducting customer and market needs analysis, developing detailed product and internet systems requirements, and managing all stages of business requirements from initial research to user acceptance testing. The position will be the liaison between client subject matter experts and the development team. The position will also identify and assist in the development of additional business opportunities within current clients, applying delivery methodology standards in the creation of solutions, understanding client tactical plans and goals, and expressing business requirements in terms of the function to be performed by the solution. Other responsibilities include overseeing business-to-system knowledge management and assisting in overall system design from user interface through backend processes. This is a team-based position that requires strong interpersonal skills. Project: Project: Commercial Loan Data Support system conversion project. Cloud-based conversion to Azure. Map old data feeds to new data feeds and work with the business teams who use this data. Write SQL queries against databases. Conduct data analysis, data documentation, data type evaluation, and data trends. Design on the database side what the new system output will look like. Work closely with a database engineer to define new data tables. Write ODBC connection against a database hosted to the cloud. Analyze data interface with stakeholders to validate, test against the requirements. Date tools: SAS, SQL, TOAD TSQL A successful Business System Analyst should possess the following traits: 1. Analytical Thinking: The ability to critically evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions. This involves gathering and analyzing data, understanding complex systems, and making data-driven decisions. 2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and conveying technical information clearly and concisely. This includes the ability to create detailed documentation and present findings to diverse audiences. 3. Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues is crucial. This includes the capacity to think creatively, anticipate potential challenges, and implement innovative solutions that align with business objectives. 4.
