Business Intelligence Analyst Job Responsibilities

Analyze and Interpret Data:
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to drive decision-making.
• Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to inform software development and marketing strategies.

Develop Data Visualizations and Reports:
• Create dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Present findings to cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.

Collaborate with Software Development Teams:
• Work closely with developers to optimize product performance and user experience based on data insights.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance system features and functionality.

Support Marketing Initiatives:
• Assist the marketing team in analyzing campaign performance and customer behavior.
• Develop metrics to measure the success of digital campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure Data Integrity and Security:
• Maintain data accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Implement best practices for data storage, retrieval, and privacy.

Requirements

Education, Licensure & Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and digital marketing metrics is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex data to non-technical audiences.
