Business Development Representative (BDR) - Clue (getclue.com) 100% Remote Role | Construction-tech SaaS startup, PE-backed We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team for a high-ticket outbound setter role. Clue is a fast-growing, profitable SaaS construction technology company targeting the $2 trillion heavy construction industry. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in the Construction Industry, preferably with experience in SaaS software sales. They will be responsible for generating outbound sales leads and serving as the initial touchpoint with potential clients, working alongside our AEs and the Head of Sales. This role is 100% remote, based in the United States (ideally, in Eastern or Central timezone). Key Responsibilities: β€’ Generate, research and qualify sales leads in the heavy civil construction space (sub-contractors and owners of heavy construction equipment) β€’ Initiate communications from the first touchpoint through closing deals with the aid of our co-founders, account executives, and project managers β€’ Follow and improve sales scripts for phone, email, and social media channels β€’ Be extremely organizaed and use our CRM tools to document all communications β€’ Typically once a quarter or so, attend trade shows and sales conferences in the US or Canada Requirements: β€’ At least 2 years of experience as SDR or BDR with proven track records of exceeding sales quotas of qualified sales presenations. β€’ Background working in the construction industry is a must, ideally with experience selling software services.Relentless passion to generate sales leads β€’ Experience with Hubspot, Zoominfo and other sales tools β€’ Interest in a fully remote job and the self-drive required to work effectively without being based in an office. Expectations: β€’ First 30 Days: Achieve comprehensive understanding of Clue's products and the market, and start conducting sales calls β€’ First 60 Days: Hold full quota of qualified sales presentations.
