Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for top of funnel outreach, supporting sales efforts, and driving revenue generation for the +Oscar team.ResponsibilitiesOwn top of funnel outreach efforts for +Oscar across email, cold calling, and social channels to generate qualified sales conversationsDesign, execute, and continuously optimize outbound outreach campaigns to increase prospective client meetings, while tracking performance and surfacing insights to inform sales strategyQualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule initial sales demos for the Director, Business SolutionsSupport and potential own marketing campaigns through channels like Linkedin alongside Director, Business Development & MarketingSupport pipeline management and sales operations, including scheduling, client correspondence, CRM updates, and reporting on funnel activity and conversion metricsPartner closely with cross functional teams at +Oscar, including product, marketing, and client teams, to incorporate client insights into targeted outreach and messagingServe as a key externally facing representative of +Oscar, engaging with clinical, marketing, and operational stakeholders at payer and provider organizations to understand their challenges and position campaign solutions effectivelyCompliance with all applicable laws and regulationsOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree & 1+ years of work experience in a business development type role1+ years of experience executing on top of funnel outreach campaignsExperience with lead generation marketingDirect Payor, Provider, or General Healthcare experienceStrong familiarity with sales best practices and top of funnel strategyClear and effective communicator both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize based on the needs and managing multiple opportunities at onceBenefitsEmployee benefitsParticipation in Oscar's unlimited vacation programMedical, dental, and vision benefits11 paid holidaysPaid sick timePaid parental leave401(k) plan participationLife and disability insurancePaid wellness time and reimbursementsCompany OverviewOscar is a health insurance company that offers individual and family plans, medicare advantages, and small group products.
