Business Development Representative
Channel Methods is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help connect biotech and pharmaceutical companies with drug and device development service providers that support new therapies and improve global health. The role involves identifying target accounts, engaging key decision-makers, and scheduling meetings for senior business development leaders within the life sciences industry.ResponsibilitiesResearch biotech and pharmaceutical companies based on clinical trial activity, funding stage, and therapeutic focusIdentify decision-makers across Clinical Operations, R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and related teamsConduct personalized outreach through email, phone, text, video, LinkedIn, and other channelsExecute structured outbound prospecting campaignsQualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into sales opportunitiesSchedule meetings for senior business development leadersMaintain accurate prospect and activity data in CRM systemsSkillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort with cold outreach and prospectingInterest in biotechnology, drug development, healthcare, or pharmaceuticalsAbility to research companies and tailor outreach messagingStrong follow-up skills, organization, and attention to detailConfidence engaging senior professionals and navigating longer sales cyclesExperience in sales, lead generation, or business developmentExposure to life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or pharmaceuticalsBachelor's degree preferred; life sciences background is a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401(k) matchEmployee support programHybrid work environmentCompany OverviewChannel Methods is a commercial engine built for life sciences.
