Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships, and converting leads into qualified sales opportunities.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential leads within territoryProactively reach out to prospects via cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and other communication channelsSchedule initial discovery calls for Account ExecutivesMeet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80-100 activities per dayEngage with leads to understand their business needs and challenges, and position our products or services as solutionsCollaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve payback period goalsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM systemBuild and nurture strong relationships with prospects and key stakeholdersStay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunitiesSkills1-2 years experience selling a SaaS product to small businesses as a BDM/SDRProven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsExperience with outbound sales, hunter mentalityComfortable working independently in a very fast-paced and tech-savvy environmentStrong work ethic, is a self-motivator, and have the results to show for itAble to listen to a customer's challenges and ask questions to understand their needsA friendly, but assertive demeanorA desire to learn.
