The Business Development Representative will drive new business growth by identifying and creating opportunities in untapped markets through proactive prospecting and building a strong pipeline.ResponsibilitiesExceed your monthly quota by utilizing your ability to assess a prospect’s “fit”Acquire/generate qualified business leads by cold calling; engaging with and developing prospects to be closed by Sales teamDocument, track and monitor all leads and activities in Salesforce.comUtilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with decision makers such as VPs, Directors and C-suite personnelAcquire in depth knowledge of our full range of risk and compliance solutions and services, conveying that knowledge to potential customers, and adhering to company messaging and positioningNurture relationships with longer term prospectsConduct territory development best practices with email, phone and chat using sales enablement tools to connect with new prospects and current customersSkillsPrevious sales, telemarketing or lead generation experienceTechnical acumen to ramp up quickly on core technologies such as Salesforce, Groove, etcA tenacious work ethic with a desire to have a career in salesGrit and know-how with a curious and creative mindset to set goals to achieve bigger outcomesHighly motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to meet and exceed quota monthly, maintaining a high call rate and ability to assess prospect's 'fit'A modest yet assertive and confident demeanor with empathy and compassionExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication skills, presentations skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives to engage and influence executive-level decision makersCulture Agility.
