Building Consultant & Estimator (Xactimate)

Job Summary We are a growing adjusting seeking an experienced Building Consultant & Estimator to support residential and commercial property insurance claims. This role requires strong Xactimate proficiency and prior experience in the insurance property claims industry. The position is fully remote, with limited travel required for complex losses or specialty inspections ONLY. This role is best suited for professionals with a construction and estimating background who are comfortable supporting claim strategy and documentation. Responsibilities • Write accurate, defensible estimates using Xactimate • Scope residential and commercial property damage (water, fire, storm, etc.) via Matterport, CompanyCam and additional provided resources • Review claim documentation including photos, reports, and policies • Assist adjusters with estimate support, supplements, and revisions • Participate in complex-loss inspections when required • Support re-inspections, dispute resolution, and scope justification • Maintain organized files and meet internal deadlines • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other consultants as needed Skills • Proficiency in Xactimate estimating. • Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques. • Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and project management fundamentals. • Large-loss or complex-loss estimating experience • Certifications such as IICRC, HAAG, or Xactimate Certification • Field inspection experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
