BookTok / TikTok VA for Therapist-Author’s Psychological Thriller Series – Ongoing 5–10 hrs/mo
I'm a former tenured professor of marriage and family therapy (PhD), published academic researcher, author of Emotionally Focused Therapy for Dummies (popular book) and other books, and therapist now writing psychological/techno thrillers. My debut thriller, FRANTIC, is already published (on amazon, website live, professional 20-second promo videos ready).
I need a reliable VA to manage BookTok (TikTok) and cross-post to Instagram Reels — ongoing, low-effort for me while I write Book 2.
Responsibilities: Post 3–5 times/week using my pre-made promo videos (focus on tension, plot twists, unreliable narrators, real psychological insights from my therapist background). Also your ideas.
Add trending sounds, hashtags (#psychologicalthriller, #booktokthriller, #plottwist, #thrillerbooks, #therapistauthor, etc.), captions, and calls-to-action.
Engage with comments (reply, like, duet/stitch when appropriate).
Track basic stats (views, likes, follows, saves) and suggest improvements weekly.
Cross-post to IG Reels when it fits.
Requirements: Proven experience with BookTok for indie authors (especially thrillers, suspense, or psychological genres).
Strong understanding of TikTok trends, hashtags, sounds, and engagement tactics.
Reliable, excellent English, detail-oriented (no spam or off-brand posts).
Available for 5–10 hrs/month (flexible schedule).
