What You'll Do...
Daily Transactions: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Accuracy: Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the day book, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
Trial Balance: Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
Accounts Processing: Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll efficiently.
Financial Documents: Prepare and file essential financial documents.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile company accounts to ensure accuracy.
Tax Assistance: Assist with tax payments and returns.
Cash Flow Monitoring: Monitor cash flow and create financial reports to support management in making informed decisions.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or FreshBooks.
Attention to Detail: Strong data entry skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
