Bookkeeper Needed for DJ & Photo-Booth Business
MBM DJs & Events, a growing DJ and events company specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings, is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and organization of our business. This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours, perfect for an experienced bookkeeper who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, looking for supplemental freelance projects.
Responsibilities:
Β Manage and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Β Track income and expenses, ensuring accurate categorization and reporting.
Β Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports.
Β Process invoices and ensure timely payments to contractors and vendors.
Β Monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
Β Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Β Collaborate with the operations team to manage event-related financial transactions.
Requirements:
Β Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the events or service industry.
Β Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
Β Strong understanding of financial regulations and bookkeeping practices.
Β Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Β Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Β Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
