Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant / Receptionist
Remote | Endocrinology Clinic | Part-Time | 30 Hours/Week | $9/hour
We are hiring a Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant / Receptionist to support a growing endocrinology clinic serving both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
This role is best suited for someone who is confident in a fast-paced medical setting, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide strong support across both clinical documentation and patient-facing coordination. You will work closely with the provider and clinic team to help keep daily operations accurate, responsive, and well-managed.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide live medical scribing support during telemedicine visits
• Prepare and update patient charts for provider review
• Review labs, medications, notes, and relevant history before appointments
• Enter clinical details into the EMR accurately and efficiently
• Support lab orders, referrals, and prior authorizations
• Provide bilingual English-Spanish support, including real-time patient communication when needed
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and follow-up workflows
• Handle an average of 40 calls per day when not actively scribing
• Provide backup phone and administrative support as needed
• Maintain professionalism, strong documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• At least 6 months of medical scribe experience
• Comfortable supporting live telemedicine visits
• Able to manage a high-volume phone workflow
• Willing to handle prior authorizations
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, charting, and patient coordination
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to adapt quickly to established workflows
Preferred Experience
• Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Scribe, or healthcare admin support experience
• Live scribing experience
• EMR documentation, chart prep, referrals, and insurance workflows
• Familiarity with Tebra/Kareo, Epic, RingCentral, or similar systems
• Endocrinology or specialty clinic experience is a plus
Schedule
• Part-time, 30 hours per week
• Typically Monday to Thursday
• Schedule may vary slightly based on clinic needs

• iPhone required
• Stable high-speed internet
• Backup internet and power source preferred
• Quiet, professional work environment
