**The Distributed Systems Engineer Team**

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Distributed Systems Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Designing and building scalable, distributed systems that can handle high traffic and large data sets
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence
* Working closely with our data platform foundation team to build and maintain our data platform
* Contributing to the development of our big data processing systems, including our data warehouse and data lake
* Participating in code reviews and ensuring high-quality code is delivered to production
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues with our distributed systems in a timely and efficient manner
* Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in distributed systems and big data processing
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems or applications
* Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data processing
* Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
* Knowledge of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
