Bilingual Customer Data Analyst

They are seeking a Bilingual Customer Data Analyst to analyze customer pricing contracts, initiate contract renewals, and provide suggested pricing for new business opportunities, impacting profitability and customer management decisions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and suggest pricing, make recommendations for margin mix on new and existing customer pricing contracts and product filesAnalyze pricing trends, obtain customer, market and competitive information from National Accounts Managers and Business Managers to be used in pricing analysis and suggested pricingProvide pricing analysis on changes to product filesWithin the Proposal process work closely with business opportunity owner in pricing strategies on product fileWithin the Implementation process work with opportunity owner in developing contract model and make recommendations on margin mixInitiate pricing files for upcoming contract expiries; follow up with NAMs, BMs, PRG and Charge Back to secure expected contract renewalsMake recommendations to Business Managers, National Account Mangers, Directors and General Managers during pricing strategy discussions as necessaryProvide ad hoc analysis on specific National Accounts as neededWork closely with National Accounts Sales, Proposals and Business Support teamsProvide other assistance, as required, to the overall National Accounts TeamSkillsBilingual in French and English; the position requires communication and partnership with different stakeholders in both languagesPost Secondary Education in Business and applied ArtsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Access; programming in Visual Basic is a definite assetStrong organizational, analytical and problem solving skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailProven time management and prioritization skills; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills in French and EnglishExceptional business acumen and professional attitudeExcellent team playerProven strong customer focus and sales orientationWell-rounded safety and industrial product knowledge acquired through prior experience or educationMust demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervisionBenefitsMedical, dental, vision and prescription drug coveragePaid time off (PTO) and up to 12 company holidays per year (dependent on home province)Life insurance coverage, including spousal and dependent life insuranceEmployee Family Assistance Program to help team members with physical, emotional, mental, financial and other concernsRegistered Retirement Savings Plan & Defined Contribution Pension Plan to help you save for your financial futureEducational & Professional Membership Fee Assistance programEmployee discounts, team member perks and more!Company OverviewGrainger Canada is the country's largest distributor of industrial, safety, and fastener products.
