OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The BI Engineer / Visualization & UX Focus is responsible for analytics and design. They build executive dashboards, embedded operational reports, and story-driven visualizations that help our stakeholders act with confidence.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI (including embedded use)
• Collaborate with the PO and stakeholders to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Ensure consistency in themes, layouts, and visuals across reports
• Train business users on self-serve capabilities and insights exploration
• Support operational teams with ad hoc analysis and report enhancement
• Other duties as assigned
• ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years in BI development, analytics, or data visualization roles
• 2+ years of experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI apps and workspaces within Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with implementation of row-level security and management of access via Azure Active Directory security groups
• Deep proficiency in Power BI (DAX, bookmarks, drill-throughs, themes)
• Attention to design, usability, and stakeholder empathy
• Bonus if youve worked in regulated or high-volume service environments
• Experience embedding Power BI reports into third-party applications a strong plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with prompt engineering and human-in-the-loop AI workflows preferred
• Masters in AI in Business (MS-AIB), Information Systems (MS-ISM), or equivalent technical program preferred
