Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney with a strong focus on Chapter 11 matters to join its growing practice. This is a fully remote position, open to attorneys licensed in New York, offering the opportunity to work on sophisticated restructuring matters while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Handle complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy and restructuring matters from inception through resolution
ā¢ Represent debtors, creditors, committees, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy proceedings
ā¢ Draft and review pleadings, motions, plans of reorganization, disclosure statements, and related filings
ā¢ Provide strategic legal advice to clients on restructuring, insolvency, and related financial issues
Qualifications
ā¢ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
ā¢ Active New York bar admission
ā¢ 3+ years of bankruptcy experience, with significant exposure to Chapter 11 cases
Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 ā $200,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
