Job Summary As a Bachelor of Science Nursing Instructor at Concorde Career Colleges, you will be responsible for providing instruction, guidance, and support to students in our nursing program. Your primary responsibilities will include teaching in classrooms, labs, clinical, and online settings, as well as participating in campus and student activities. You will serve as a professional and academic role model, demonstrating expertise in your field and a commitment to student success. Key Responsibilities • Instruct classes as assigned, preparing lesson plans and course materials as required • Objectively assess students for academic performance, providing regular and constructive feedback • Effectively organize and present subject matter to students, utilizing instructional plans and learning management systems • Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, setting a positive example for professionalism and conduct • Proactively inform Program Directors of any student attendance, academic, or behavioral concerns • Participate in ongoing faculty and professional development activities, including Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required • Assist with preparations for graduation ceremonies, student recognition, and other campus events • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the success of the college Essential Qualifications • Graduate degree required; those without a nursing major in their graduate degree must have a BSN with a clinical component • Minimum of 4 years of clinical practice experience • Active and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of Missouri • No disciplinary actions in any jurisdiction • Meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications Preferred Qualifications • Teaching experience in nursing education • Experience with online learning platforms and educational technology • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Skills and Competencies • Excellent instructional and communication skills • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment • Strong organizational and time management skills • Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems • Commitment to student satisfaction and academic excellence Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Concorde Career Colleges, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our faculty members.
