Azure VMware Solution Consultant
Role: Azure VMware Solution Consultant. Location: Remote. Duration: Long Term Contract. Job Description: • 8+ years in IT. • 2+ years in Azure VMware Solution (AVS). • 4+ years in VMware vSphere & Azure cloud deployments/migrations. Responsibilities: • Work with architects and delivery teams to plan/implement large-scale AVS migrations. • Migrate customers from on-prem VMware to AVS. • Collaborate with application, infra, and security teams to define migration requirements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Azure/AVS and VMware technologies. • Share knowledge via documentation and internal training. Required Skills: • AVS, VMware vSphere 6.0+, NSX-T (DNS, DHCP, Firewall, NSX-v to NSX-T migration). • VMware vSAN. • VMware HCX (Advanced & Enterprise). • Azure ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, Route Server. • Azure networking. • Experience with VMware/Cloud migrations using HCX. • Strong infra concepts (hypervisor, networking, HA, patching, monitoring). Preferred Skills: • VMware SRM, vSphere Replication. • VMware suite: vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI. • Azure Disk Pools, Azure NetApp Files. • Azure Monitor, Arc, Security Center. • 3rd-party virtual appliances (firewalls, routers, LB). Education: • BS or Master's in Computer Science/Tech. • Preferred: VCTA, VCP-DCV, CCNP, VCP-NV. Nice to Have: • Experience with enterprise Azure solutions and deployments. Apply tot his job
