Job Title: Azure Security Consultant Location-Type: Remote Start Date Is: 2 weeks from offer Duration: 6-month contract Compensation Range: $65-75/hr Job Description: Seeking an Azure Security Consultant to join a cloud security architecture team and enhance the security posture of cloud-hosted environments through technical consulting, security assessments, and implementation of Azure-native controls. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Consult on Azure resources security (Key Vaults, App Services, WAF, etc.) • Develop BICEP templates embedding security controls in bolthires/CD workflows • Perform cloud security assessments including container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) • Implement and manage CNAPP solutions (e.g., Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud) • Secure IAM across on-prem and cloud AD, Azure AD, SSO, Okta • Monitor/respond to incidents using SIEM/SOAR tools and Azure-native monitoring • Document and communicate technical findings to various audiences Requirements: • Must-Haves: • Bachelor's in Computer Science or IT (ideal) • Strong documentation and communication skills • Strategic problem-solving and long-term technical planning • Experience with threat modeling tools (e.g., Irius, Cairis, Kenna, bolthires) • Azure Security Certifications • Nice-to-Haves: • CNAPP solution experience (Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud) • Familiarity with Azure-native monitoring and incident response tools • Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (BICEP) Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
