Azure AI Architect: Intelligent Medical Document Orchestration (IDP + RAG) - Contract to Hire
We are building, a medical document orchestration system that extracts clinical signals (Diagnosis, Physical Findings, Denial Rationale) from messy faxes and uploads.
Project Scope:
Configure Azure AI Document Intelligence (formerly Form Recognizer) using Query Fields to extract Patient DOB, Author, and clinical findings.
Implement Visual Anchors using Bounding Box (polygon) coordinates to provide visual snippets of original text.
Build a Grounded AI Pipeline using Azure OpenAI (Serverless) with "On Your Data" to prevent hallucinations.
Set up Azure Health Data Services (FHIR) as our parallel clinical database.
Integrate with a Chrome Extension that syncs via Patient ID in the EMR URL.
Required Skills:
Expert-level Azure AI Document Intelligence (Layout + Medical models).
Azure OpenAI (Prompt Engineering and RAG patterns).
Experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) data standards.
Ability to build HIPAA-compliant pipelines using Managed Identities and Azure Logic Apps.
Goal: 100% reliable clinical signals with a verifiable "Visual Receipt" for every card.
