AWS Cloud Engineer Ops Support (USAF Cloud One)
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Operation and support Engineer with expertise in multiple cloud platforms to develop in a scalable cloud-native solutions and ensure best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security from design, test, integration, production, sustainment and maintenance.
Requirements
ā¢ Developing in a scalable cloud-native solutions
ā¢ Ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security
ā¢ Performing AWS cloud operations, sustainment, and maintenance activities
ā¢ Developing cloud strategy and roadmaps aligned with organization objectives and technical requirements
ā¢ Evaluating emerging cloud technologies to maximize automation and perform assessments of the potential impact on organizational and program goals
ā¢ Driving adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks
ā¢ Optimizing application performance and reliability in cloud environments
ā¢ Supporting design, implementation and sustainment of secure cloud architectures implementing zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies
ā¢ Ensuring compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.) and regulatory requirements
ā¢ Architecting, implementing and maintaining cloud networking security controls
ā¢ Implementing identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks
ā¢ Facilitating customer onboarding and implementing a consistent pathway to cloud adoption
ā¢ Assessing legacy systems and designing modernization strategies
ā¢ Supporting development of migration methodologies and ensuring minimal organizational disruption during transitions
ā¢ Managing and optimizing cloud AWS environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems
ā¢ Implementing and maintaining CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code development
ā¢ Containerizing applications to enhance scalability and deployment efficiency
ā¢ Supporting the design and development of Shared Services
ā¢ Configuring and troubleshooting cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems
ā¢ Establishing and maintaining SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring their performance and reliability
ā¢ Preparing detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes
ā¢ Collaborating with cross-functional teams
ā¢ Creating reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for cloud implementations
