AWS Cloud Architect - Remote - 66802 We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Data Engineer (Mid-Level) or Database Admin to work on remote basis. Pay Rate: $45/hr We are looking for a Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The role involves defining cloud architecture standards, leading migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring security and compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. The Cloud Architect will also drive automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD practices, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, including at least 4 years in an architecture or lead role. • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud); experience with multiple platforms is advantageous. • Strong knowledge of networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect), security, IAM, storage, databases, and compute services. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) and automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). • Understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as serverless architectures. • Experience with cloud-based data architecture, data pipelines, and analytics solutions. • Ability to translate business requirements into architectural designs and deliverables. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence and guide teams and stakeholders. • *ALL successful candidates for this position are required to work directly for PRIMUS.
