About the position Responsibilities • Perform and drive analytics to grow the business, control losses, and enhance customer experience. • Work cross-functionally to drive smart growth and client satisfaction while ensuring safety and soundness in the portfolio. • Monitor credit and fraud strategies, identifying emerging risks or opportunities and communicating trends to portfolio leadership. • Prepare and present client-facing and leadership team presentations to facilitate informed decisions. • Maintain and develop client reporting and ad-hoc analytics using SAS, Tableau, and other data tools. • Provide guidance on risk appetite and prudent growth to the organization. • Drive enhanced strategies using champion/challenger leanings to manage credit and fraud risk. • Investigate and resolve customer and client issues, identifying strategy enhancement opportunities. • Coordinate planning cycles with client teams to ensure consistency in business plans. • Maintain effective challenge of critical decisions and business processes. Requirements • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a consumer and/or commercial Credit/Risk, Finance, or Analytics role; or 6+ years in lieu of a bachelor's degree. • 3+ years' experience analyzing large data sets to derive strategic actionable credit insights, including SAS, SQL, R, or Python programming skills. Nice-to-haves • Ability to condense large amounts of information and present it simply to senior management and clients. • Strong analytical skills and comfort in a quantitative environment. • Experience in a cross-functional team setting. • Advanced technical and analytical competencies in driving strategic goals. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Familiarity with commercial/consumer lending products and practices. • Advanced experience with SAS/SQL or other related analytic tools. Benefits • Annual bonus based on individual and company performance. • Salary range of $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD Annual, adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
