Insider Risk Analyst, Personnel Security (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review completed background checks on elevated risk candidates and prepare detailed reports with recommendations
- Evaluate candidate profiles for potential security risks and identify signs of fraud or deception
- Develop and refine candidate and employee screening security protocols in collaboration with stakeholders
- Conduct enhanced vetting of high-risk candidates and coordinate with internal security teams
- Support general Insider Risk and Global Security operations, including incident response efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of experience in background investigations, intelligence analysis, risk assessment, security, or compliance
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills for conducting interviews and writing reports
- Knowledge of insider threat/risk and candidate security best practices
- Proficiency in open-source intelligence (OSINT) and threat intelligence tools
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in National Security, Intelligence, or Security Policy)
- Knowledge of advanced screening tools, data analytics, and AI for fraud detection
- Familiarity with regulations like the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Experience in a remote-first environment
