S/he must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and multiple deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, a passion for the news, media and communications, and enthusiasm for delivering great results for clients are essential. Responsibilities include: Contribute to creation of communications plans that meet client objectivesBuild relationship with clients and colleagues at all levelsConsistently produce high quality internal and external communications content often under tight timelines and with competing prioritiesDemonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving both traditional and social media outreach plansCommit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goalsAid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparationMonitor media trends and social conversations to uncover news trends, new media columns and story ideas for clientsProviding day-to-day account support and managing multiple projects simultaneously, keeping teams organized and updated Key Requirements: The account executive must have at least one year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishingAbility to multi-task and work in a matrix structureAbility to work calmly, accurately, and efficiently under multiple deadlines, often with short lead-timesAbility to develop relationships with media and apply experience and initiative in developing traditional and digital media relations strategiesEnthusiasm and energy for communications and delivering great client workAbility to conduct accurate, detailed research and analysis across digital and social mediaGood communication skills, both written and verbal; able to articulate point of viewExceptional attention to detail, tenacity, and organisation and planning skills Additional Information We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway.
